Staff is polite and helpful. Hotel is 10 in walk from bus station and is right at railway station which is very convenient if you go to Machu Picchu. Nearby there’re many cafes and farm with animals for free to walk. Hotel has Very nice green territory and it’s pleasant to rest at patio’s chairs. Room is clean and looks exactly like on pictures. Free water, bathrobe, hair dryer make living comfortable.

Beautifully curated BnB. We stayed in the luxury cottage which has a lounge area, a spectacular sky view and a super comfy bed. The attention of the staff was first class and the food was also top. Can fully recommend. The short distance to town means you need to take a bus/taxi, but the advantage is the beautiful view, lovely place and excellent safe food and drinks. There are lots of outdoor activities around this location.

Cannot imagine finding a more comfortable hotel to base in Sacred Valley. Lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking a flower and tree filled garden (with hummingbirds!). Comfortable beds with cozy linens and extra pillows ensured restful nights. From the moment of our arrival to our departure today, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for our every comfort and question. The breakfast was ample with everything from a veggie & cheese filled omelette to scrumptious fresh mango, bananas and mandarin oranges with yogurt and muesli. We wholeheartedly recommend the Apu Lodge based on our 6-night stay and would love to come back another time.

The boss couple are very nice and helped us a lot. We chose to stay here for 2 nights on our round trip from Machu Picchu. The hotel has a nice little garden, the room is very clean, the bed is big and comfortable, and the towels are of good quality. Very close to the train station but very quiet. The breakfast was good, the coffee and bread were delicious. The price is also very good, it is the best hotel around!

Eureka Lodge is located downtown of Ollantaytambo village, just 15 meters from the main tourist attraction of the town and 08 minutes walking distance from the train station to Machupicchu.

Mikhail and Ruth are the nicest and most helpful hosts you can ever have. We were stuck in Ollantaytambo due to the protest and road closures which affected all of Peru. Although we didn’t get to go to Machu Picchu, Mikhail gave us recommendations to local ruins we can walk to and local attractions. They extended our stay and served us delicious breakfast every morning. They kept us updated on news regarding the road closures. On our last day, he found someone to drive us back to Cusco and we were able to get to our plane on time before the roads were closed again. If you’re looking to stay somewhere in Ollantaytambo I highly recommend this place. Pro tip: Download WhatsApp since everyone use it to communicate in Peru

Las Casitas was such a nice place to stay, it has unbelievable energy, we even extended our stay (twice). The territory is wonderful with a garden, which smelled so nice, and dedicated yoga place. The school that the owners support is a very important project for the community. We really looked forward to returning ‘home’ every day in the evening, walking through the garden, lighting a cosy fire.. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, breakfast was great (as well as lunch and dinner), all amenities worked excellent. I would be very happy to return here one day, it definitely added many good memories to our trip and stay in Urubamba.
