The host is exceptionally friendly, the place is just what you need if you are more into local experience while on island. Close to beach and everything else you need, restaurants, caffes, travel shops, atms, markets. Bed was firm and comfy, barhroom is big enough. The garden gives nature vibes. Also, had breakfast multiple times at the caffee shop there, the fruit bowls are crazy tasty and the coffee is very very good. The savory options are also tasty. The staff is very nice. Thank you, Bamon, for everything! It was a great experience!

Honestly we were sceptical about this place, because it had only one review, but we decided to try. No regrets! The best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Thailand. :-) From the second we came we felt more like a close friend of the host rather than a guest. :-) She just can't stop smiling and laughing. We had a problem with water coming up from the drain in the bathroom. Then we were quickly moved into another identical room, all the time apologizing and asking if we're alright 😊 Also she gave us lots of tips of where to eat, what to do and not do. Rooms were clean. Price is very nice. A/C is good. The place seems pretty new, so it's not worn in any way. The beach is nice here, and it's not shallow as it is in Long beach or Klong Khong. It's maybe not that good for children who can't swim, as it's about 2m depth even 10m from the shore.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! By far my favourite place to stay while visiting Thailand. Close to the beach, great for snorkelling. My bungalow was very comfortable. Great value for money. Delicious freshly made juice. The staff are so kind and friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer. 100% will visit again.

After a massive trip around SE Asia, Arya Bungalows was the most relaxing and most accommodating place I had the pleasure of staying in. This place is literally 5 stars. The location for first timers to Thailand is a little off the road, but don’t dispair! This is the best place to stay for safety, cleanliness, helpfulness, and overall just super accommodating! Run by a family, they were super helpful and helped me to transfer from Krabi Airport, get a moped / scooter, and even assisted with my gluten free dietary requirements! They have quality food and the prices are very reasonable. Close to the beach by moped, I didn’t walk but I think it would be close too. I’ll be honest it was a little difficult to find initially, but once I found it and knew when to turn from the main road, it was very easy to find. I cannot recommend enough Sha and her lovely family who were most accommodating. The rooms were 100% clean and very modern and was a lovely retreat with amazing shower, fantastic. air conditioning, and a little porch where I was able to chill each night! I really didn’t want to leave such an amazing review, because it’s kind of a little secret of mine, but honestly the hosts deserve good business from tourists and this could possibly be the best value place to stay in Koh Lanta, possibly even Thailand.
