Casa Isleña ligt in Rincon, op een paar minuten lopen van Playa de Arena, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. The stay at Casa Isleña exceeded our expectations. It is located on a beautiful beach, the decor is tasteful, it offered by far the best food and drinks on the island and the staff is friendly, courteous and skilled. There were even truly great live music acts. In case we travel to Puerto Rico again, this place is a must-visit. We wish we could have spent more time there..

Located in the south-west of Puerto Rico, this property offers its guests an outdoor pool, on-site snack bar and free Wi-Fi throughout. In the gardens guests may enjoy the sun terraces. Really cool, funky place to stay, nice bar, good food, room was small but well furnished, overlooking the pool. Not far from town which was buzzing. Came for a short stay to try the luminescent bay swimming experience which was good but not exceptional. No beaches nearby, 30 minute drive to Playa Santa - don’t bother, dirty and no facilities. Balneario de Boquerón was much better, but again no facilities. Only stayed overnight, probably worth staying a couple of days to experience the night life in town.

Since we had some important questions to ask, we contacted the hotel 4-5 times before the arrival. The communication was fast and effective and we were satisfied with the answers. When we came, we found the staff super friendly and assisting every way they could. Mr. Sergi Martorell, the manager, was very efficient in solving the problems that have arisen and answering multiple questions we had regarding our week stay in las Terrenas. He was always at the hotel, speaking with guests, inquiring about their day. The hotel is surrounded by an idyllic lush garden. The cottages (we lived in number 21) are nicely designed with a lot of beautiful pictures inside and on the porch as well as colourful furniture. The kitchen has all amenities necessary for making meals and coffee. Both bedrooms have bathrooms. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is fabulous, a 3 minute walk to the closest sandy beach from which you can stroll long distances both directions. In many cases we were the only ones to swim in the sea in a particular spot. The cafes and restaurants can be found as close as a 5-10 minute walk. When we return to las Terrenas, we will be happy to stay at the same hotel again.

This place has a really great staff. they advise and help with everything. breakfast was great, freshly made arepa was delicious. room was quiet and a good size. nice Yaque beach 10min walk away.

Lovely garden to relax in, full of the sounds of nature. The air con in the bedroom is very effective and the guesthouse is spacious with a comfortable bed, cooking facilities and a large lounge. Fleur is very helpful, even giving a mobile phone for non Jamaican guests to use for calls. The area is quiet, safe and close to the universities (you can take advantage of a swim at the Olympic pool at UWI 350jd followed by a fresh coconut. )Ubers are convenient and economical ways to go downtown, to lively Kingston Night market on Tuesdays or to Kingston Dub club on Sundays. A good spot for getting into the hills too for a sample of Blue mountain coffee. Ubers from here are also great ways to meet Jamaicans and possibly find a driver to take you further afield. The breakfast is lovely at Kingston cottage and can include Ackee and saltfish at the weekend. The caretaker gardener here is really friendly and helpful.
