We loved our stay here. We get exactly what we expected/ and what it was explained.
So its an old wooden house and of course you can hear the floor crackles but thats how it is.
The warm welcome from the hosts, the atmosphere in the cottage, the cosy living room, the spacious dining room, and the lovely garden were just amazing. It felt good to be there.
If you are more into nature this is excellent place to discover the national park. ( if you are a backpacker and on a low budget bring your food as the restaurants are expensive)

My favorite place in Argentina so far. Very welcoming family business and everyone is helping with it. Strolling through the beautiful garden is very grounding. Close to wonderful beaches. Breakfast with fruits from the garden (in season of course) and a quiet, restful night. As if this isn't enough the host even though she must be very busy has a moment or two for an interesting chat. Come here if you can.
Lago Gutierrez, San Carlos de Bariloche
Located in San Carlos de Bariloche, the Hosteria El Condado offers a warm environment with spacious, exclusively furnished accommodations with beautiful views of the lake or the mountains.
Guests staying at Hosteria El Condado can enjoy a bar overlooking Gutierrez Lake and a shared lounge with a big fireplace. They can also relax in the garden.
Ours was a 18 days ski trip, and for that matter resting is an important subject. Regarding location, this place is a bit off grid, near Lago Gutiérrez, and this provided the peace and quiet we needed on recovering times/days, being of course near enough to Cerro Catedral, but without all the noisy visitors and after parties. The price was also great, making it cheaper to hire a driver every morning than it is to stay at the base lodges, We never missed the lifts opening time, at 9am.
With just a handful of rooms, the staff can run the place smoothly and pristine for the guests. They are all great people, and the calming ambiance makes it all so homely and cosy, you feel cared for. The food is simple but not boring, and we preferred to stay in for dinner multiple days instead of going to the nearby pub and coffee. They also have good wine to offer. The waitress was careful enough to set our prefered table everyday.
The rooms are well heated and always cleaned in the morning, and if we stayed in for resting during the morning, they would clean it during our lunch, even if we stayed just a little time off. The lake view is something else. no matter the weather, the views are always stunning. you can see a handful of birds every morning.
Near the hotel there's a national park you can visit. It's walking distance, and inside it there are trails you can make. We ended up doing a couple at days we were too sore for skiing but too bored to stay in.
Overall, we look forward to stay here again in our next visit to Bariloche.

The breakfast is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. The staff is so helpful and nice. The dinner they offer is the best meal we had during our two week trip. The room was nice. The place is so cozy I wish we had stayed longer.
The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has a dinner option that fully supplied us! Very well located, near the midtown of Bariloche. Free water and hot water for a hot beverage in the night.
We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen facilities but they seemed adequate for a short stay. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the restaurant on the premises, we had two delicious and reasonably priced dinners there. The hotel is located just a short drive from the center of town and located near other restaurants. All in all I think it was good value for money.
We rented a cabin and it was fabulous. Beautiful view of the lake and very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was in the main hotel with a buffet that was incredible - a variety of foods including great gluten free options. Breakfast was also available for a wide range of time so one could get up early or sleep in late. We also enjoyed a dinner at the hotel. The dining areas also have a stunning view of the lake and volcanos. We really loved our stay here.
The staff was very nice and helpful The location is great The view from the bedroom was spectacular I had a delicious trout dinner on my first evening.
Great location in perfect walking distance to the town. Very friendly staff. Restaurant ambience could be improved but the food was good at dinner and especially at breakfast. Spacious rooms and nice pool and sauna which could be pre-booked for private enjoyment. Consuelo was extremely helpful to upgrade our room to a quieter floor for the second night.
The staff was kind and very helpful. The views were magnificent. The bar was fun for evenings befor dinner and to visit friends.
Delightful inn with wonderfully attentive staff and large comfortable bedrooms, as well as ample common rooms ( with views). Enjoyed being on the peninsula, well away from bustle of Bariloche. Being an English speaker ( only) was not a problem here. Our bedroom had a gorgeous view of the lake & mountain. The staff helped us make sailing & restaurant bookings. Sending out laundry for 24 hr turn around was easy. Due to location (off of main road), be sure to have a rental car.
