I like the slightly quirky style of the place - so much better than bigger fancier hotels that are often soulless.

Located in Buckfast, Devon, and nestled inside Dartmoor National Park, The Abbey Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation, a bar. From the very start the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and varied and the ambiance was lovely. Our room overlooking the river was exceptional 👌

And the breakfasts are delicious + incredible value. Highly recommended. You ideally need a car though, as there isn't proper pedestrian access from Buckastleigh.
