Had dinner in the pub, was really good - the rooms aren't in the pub, but in a building to the side - small, but cosy and met all our needs for a one night stay. Great location, one train stop away from the NEC which is where we wanted to go.

Staff were really nice and helpful and room was nice and comfortable. I would say it’s much more than an 8 mins walk to the city centre though which is what booking.com state. Also the property is located within the clean air zone which we were unaware of and this cost us an extra £28 for an overnight stay, obviously not the pub’s fault though and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Opposite Birmingham New Street Station, Comfort Inn City Centre Birmingham offers a 24-hour front desk. The Bullring Shopping Centre is a 2-minute walk away. The room was bigger than we expected, the shower was lush and powerful, and the bed was amazingly comfortable and clean. Just what was needed after a long day of travel.
