We ate dinner and breakfast in the cafe. Food was excellent and the owners are delightful, they have renovated an old tea house and reused some things to give it a funky look.

Stunning! After a long and hot bike ride from Onomichi, we were greeted by the most lovely couple, with amazing orange flavoured icey cold drinks which were amazing! Staff were very welcoming, helped us make dinner arrangements and even showed me how to use my bike lock! The room was absolutely wonderful, I think this property is a must visit!

the hotel is right in front of the Public DOGO onsen , which i did not try . The dinner is very good. The hotel is newly renovated , but some part of hotel is very old and smelly .

Exceptionally kind and helpful hosts. The room was a lovely space with a small kitchen, great bathroom and amazing view of the beach. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our hosts were so helpful, booking us a table for dinner, helping pump up our bike tyres, delicious welcome drink, snack and also a present on leaving. So grateful we chose to stay here as a stop on the Shimanami Kaido!

100+ old traditional Japanese inn. Big rooms, great atmosphere.

You'll either come here to enjoy the local beer, or stay at an old Japanese residential house. The guest house is small, and therefor always relaxed. Downstairs is a small brewery and bar, definitely try a few of the beers! Staff is a lot of fun to interact with.

The massage chair was a great bonus, plus the light dinner that was free to take! Really comfortable stay!

This is a small, aging inn located in the Dogo area. If want to stay in a nice place, this isn't it, but the rooms are fine for sleeping and it's far less expensive than the surrounding hotels. The location is excellent and the older couple that runs the inn are very kind and helpful.

The brewery made us chose the guest house and we enjoyed tasting the beer. Great quality. Also a simple curry dish was offered at the bar, tasty and it saved us going out for dinner after a long day. The guest house is upstairs of the bar and kindly offers earplugs due to the bar downstairs but we found the traffic was more of a disturbance during the night. Well, if you know you just use earplugs and then it is not a problem. Very convenient local train takes you straight into the city
