The hotel has a charming medieval restaurant on the main square of historic Bredevoort with excellent home-baked cakes and a decent lunch/dinner menu. This is also where we were served breakfast. The 7 hotel rooms were in a separate restored building behind the restaurant. The new owners of the hotel/restaurant (and most of the staff) are really friendly and welcoming. The town of Bredevoort and the surrounding area are stunning and we just adored our hikes and cycling trips. We also just enjoyed drinking a beer on the terrace.

Rustic, interesting, plenty of people on some form of cycling holiday. The hotel is geared to be totally sufficient for cycling holidays with electric bicycles for hire. Would be perfect for a walking holiday.

Very close to both the station and the town centre. Lovely old building. Friendly staff. We arrived late and they still offered to serve us dinner.

Clean and spacious room, very comfortable. The jacuzzi worked perfectly, it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel's restaurant for dinner was also very good, even the fixed menu for Valentine's day was very good. We liked it so much we are planning a second visit to try the regular menu.

The staff, the breakfast, dinner, and the location. Great food, staff is super nice, and clean. The room is very simple and small, but comfortable. It worth what you pay. Good shower as well.

The atmosphere is amazing, the property and the surrounding make you feel like set back in centuries. Very comfortable, friendly staff, cozy and clean room. Good breakfast. Was able to have dinner even if I arrived very late. Appreciated!
