Outdoor facilities are amazing, the pool a great relief from the hot weather. Inside the property there's everything you need and more, AC in all rooms which is a must, It's in a great spot too, only possible issue which is out of the host's control and that's the access road. But when following Google maps head for the seafront first and not the first way maps takes you. When you approach the property from the seafront 50m of it is very bumpy and un developed, just take it slow. Natasa who met us at the house on check in and check out was lovely to chat with and left us some lovely fresh fruit and raki, we are already looking at returning next year. Oh and the sunset's are out of this world 🌄

The location is ideal for venturing the area and nearby sights. The property is about 10min to 25min drive from just about everything ! The property was clean and had several different rooms so we could do different things without disturbing the ones who just wanted to rest. The kitchens (yes, both of them) were equipped with all Cooking essentials many consumables (salt, pepper, paprika e.t.c.) and had stoves, oven and a running fridge which apparently was u and running way before we arrived because is was very cold already. This might seem insignificant but I assure you for South Crete with 35degrees Celsius from 9:00 to 20:00, it is not. The barbecue and wood oven are both in working condition and run pretty hot, pretty fast. We used them both. There was a good stock of fire starters, firewood and charcoal.

The views were incredible and the pool huge. The villa was amazing and had everything and more you could possible want. The owners were extremely helpful and generous with the food and drink they gave us. It was near a really lovely village with superb tavernas that you could walk to.

Great location, close to Matala, the Phaistos palace, and beautiful beaches along the south coast. Can see that the ladies running this place outside their hearts into it - it’s clean and homely. Kamilari village itself is charming and you have all you want in walking distances - the village shop even delivers essentials if you ask through the host. Bathroom facilities not like a 5 star hotel but that’s not what we are paying for. Tip: park your car at the bottom of the slope or on the village square just round the corner.
