Fantastic location in Taormina, easy walking distance from Porta Catania. Beautiful and spacious with a lovely outdoor area to have breakfast. Our host was very helpful and responsive both prior to arriving and during our stay. Breakfast is a simple fare, but perfect for us but may not suit others expecting a full American breakfast. We recommend exploring restaurants, lots available off the main streets to your right as you walk away from the cathedral towards Porta Messina (opposite end) and also steps down towards the public gardens which are a must see with spectacular views, sculptures, buildings and get away from the crowds.

Very well-maintained hotel in a beautiful and central location, with spectacular views, parking on site and convenient access both to the city center (a ten-minute walk or free shuttle offered by the hotel) and to the beaches. Service is kind and attentive. Breakfast was served in an open-air terrace overlooking the sea. The pool was also very nice. I would definitely stay again at Grand Hotel San Pietro.
