We have been to many luxury places, this is one of the amazing location we have been. We had a very nice room with the best view of the lake. Lots of privacy. Lovely jacuzzi. Friendly welcome by the owner and everything super well maintained. Beautiful garden. We will definitely come back. Hopefully to celebrate our wedding.

The Approdo is superbly located by the Cinderella lake, Lago D’Orta. Rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff very helpful. The Buffet breakfast catered for all nationalities with a great choice of food. Staff at the pool shack made an iced espresso that kept the energy levels up. Can’t fault this property.

This majestic property in Art Nouveau style includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa. It is on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Stresa, opposite the Borromean Islands.

Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.
