The staff is lovely and accomodating. Both the private bath, public onsen and private onsen are refreshing and outdoors. The food is amazing and the portions were great. Very quiet location and rooms feel very private.

Absolut amazing venue. We traveled in a group of 7 persons and it was the perfect accommodation for us. Modern, but in Japanese style. Great location in Arashiyama. Very relaxing after a day of sightseeing in Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and flexible. It was very easy to arrange the meeting time for check-in.

Great communication from the hosts; very helpful with our luggage, great suggestions for dining options, friendly and welcoming. Excellent location, easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. Very clean house, equipped with all that we needed for our stay.

Amazing hotel and design. The room was close to perfection with all the comfort. Staff was incredibly helpful and professional. This place felt like the closest to perfection I ever had in hotellerie. Nowadays a lot of hotel have the 5 star but they are far away from the standard of a real one. This is a real one.

Cozy and spacious room, even for international patterns. Bathroom equiped with all amenities, bathtub and ceiling shower spacious and remarkable clean. Excellent location, in a residential neighbourhood besides a bus stop that leads you to main touristic spots. Besides that, the htl has excellent restaurants (open to the public), a public Onsen. And the service was flawless. Next time in Kyoto, I would get back to this hotel, for sure.

This is really something to recommend. We love it there, rooms in Ryokan design, sleeping on the floor, japanese breakfast just great. Amazong and nice staff speaking perfect English. Privat bath was also top.
