Elephant Fence was fantastic! We highly recommend staying here. We got in late off a train from Colombo (~8:00pm) and the owners welcomed us and served us dinner at Chill & Grill (their adjoining restaurant). The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more (wifi, mini fridge and aircon). The accommodation is quiet and surrounded by nature. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here - it was so yum! We did a cooking class with the owners and would highly recommend you do the same!

We loved the hotel and surroundings in the jungle. The stuff was really kind, helpful and professional, the rooms are spectacular tree houses with paths between, pretty new and fresh.The pool, jacuzzi and sauna is ideal addition to our pleasant stay.

The tranquil environment with being surrounded by the trees really sets up a very soothing atmosphere. The pool and the jacuzzi really helps you wind down after a long day of hiking. A lot of good eating spots around the property within walking distance. Also if your feeling tired the Spanish srilankan fusion cuisine made in house is also recommended. The peppery manager Emanuel will make sure you’re very well taken care of.

It’s a most beautiful hotel, the rooms are better than a five star hotel. Rooms are large, very high quality beds and furniture, luxurious bathroom. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained, great pool and beautiful garden with fruit trees. The people are so special, extremely kind and caring. You can feel the love they put in the hotel and making sure the guests are happy. The photos on Booking are not as good as reality, it’s better! It was our last hotel in Sri Lanka, and it could not have been better for us and our two young kids. Such a warm, comfortable and special stay.

Great location. Amazing views from property. Nice and quiet surrounding in the middle of the jungle. Hosts were great and very helpful. They helped us with any questions we w and helped us organize the safari. Accommodation was super clean. We would stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The place is beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery, but what really made it special were the hosts. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely warm, and they speak excellent English, which made communication so easy. They helped us with everything we needed, always with a smile, and made us feel completely at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

A true haven of peace in the heart of the Sigiriya jungle. We stayed at Covanro Sigiriya in early July, and absolutely loved it. The place is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by lush nature. We even spotted a chameleon, a monitor lizard, and kingfishers right in the garden! Special mention to the pool staff, who were genuinely lovely and always attentive. Our room was beautiful – tastefully decorated, spacious, and very relaxing. And the pool… what a gem! Large, clean, set in greenery, and best of all: we had it all to ourselves. A truly magical moment ✨ The restaurant serves delicious, well-prepared food. Prices are slightly higher than in central Sigiriya, but totally fair considering the quality. In short: the perfect place to relax, surrounded by nature with all the comfort you could ask for. Highly recommended!

Seerock is located a short 15 minute tuk tuk or scooter ride outside the town of sigiriya and provides a wonderful peaceful and calm environment with a stunning landscape and garden. The facilities were clean, updated and very comfortable. The seerock was priced incredibly well for the facilities and service that we received. The restaurant was exceptional, with a wonderful menu that we had both breakfast and dinner at. The Sri Lankan dishes were very very yummy. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely incredible, every single one of them. The staff are so so welcoming, kind, polite and so helpful in coordinating and organising your stay. In particular, Ninesh the manager was sensational. He met us as we checked in and out and ran us through all the facilities and services provided by the hotel. Any questions we had about our stay or any activities he was able to organise for us very promptly, these included tuk tuk rides, hiring a scooter, organising the minneyira safari for us (also joining us on the safari) and so much more. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel enough for location, facilities, services and definitely the kindest staff.
