Location - the property was situated a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Hiriketiya Road, being quite central to the town and restaurants between Hiriketiya/Dikwalla. Cleanliness - the villa presented in a very tidy manner and I didn’t have any issues with critters etc. Facilities - the host ensured there was always plenty of water at the villa, the bathroom and bedroom were both spacious and the kitchen was convenient. I had no issues with mosquitoes during my stay so the room was well sealed. Air conditioning and a fan were fantastic. Host - very polite, readily available and able to assist with any query. Fantastic trip.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The family is incredibly kind and welcoming — from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: shampoo, soap, drinking water, and more. I stayed at the White Villa for about nine days and was very happy with my stay. The house is modern and clean with two comfortable bed rooms and a kitchen. It has a big terrace overlooking a private garden. The area is well situated and peaceful. You can easily walk to Goyambokka beach or reach beautiful Silent beach with a short Tuk Tuk ride. The town is also not far away. Upul and his family are extremely tentative and caring, every day they made sure I had everything I needed. Every morning I was served a generous breakfast. I had many of my meals at the house and the family provided me with lovely authentic Sri Lankan cooking. I hope to come again one day!

I can only recommend Blue Point Rest (former name: Golden Beach Resort). The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and cozy with a nice balcony or terrace. The breakfast is varied, extensive and very delicious, although personal wishes are also taken into account. It is only a few minutes' walk to beautiful Goyambokka Beach. There are also dining options nearby. I've stayed here several times and I feel right at home there. Thanks to Ushan and his family for the wonderful days.

Charith has been a great host and his family has taken good care of us during our stay, always being attentive to our comfort. The beach which is great for surfing or swimming is also extremely beautiful and early in the morning you can see fishermen in their traditional boats. The rooms are big,comfortable and very quiet. We also had dinner there twice and we can tell you Charith is an excellent chef. We had the honnor to be the first customers at the small restaurant they have just opened. We wish them the best of luck and hopefully we'll visit them again soon

Wow, this was the best experience in Sri Lanka for us! The room is decent, clean and good, but the hosts make all the difference. We were invited for the birthday of the hostess’s husband, with cake and their complete family. Such a loving family, and the breakfast was 10/10. The hotel looks quite stunning when you arrive and you are greeted by lovely staff. We took the lagoon view room and despite the building being in the mainroad, it was soo quiet and pretty looks. Pool was also on point and staff were always checking it. Bed was really comfortable, room was big enough and also having a mini fridge. Quite convenient location if you have wheels or don’t mind a bit of pickme/riding buses. Breakfast was ok, with lots of toasts.
