Feeding the Alpacas, horses and sheep was the highlight. Beautiful home and the home made bread and jam, milk and fresh baked loaf were a great touch that made it feel like staying at a friend's... A new friend.

The uniqueness of the property. A little out of town gave that peaceful rural tranquility. Our cabin was beautifully appointed and super comfortable, everything we needed was at hand and catered for. The hotel’s location is wonderful! Lots of activities nearby. The room has access to the lawn. There is an excellent children's playground within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly!

A luxury stay experience at the edge of the breathtakingly beautiful New Zealand Fiordland. The Lodge sits in a stunning rural setting, with sweeping views across beautiful Lake Manapouri to the snow-capped peaks beyond. Our hosts Breidi and Brad made us feel very welcome and at home. Gourmet dinner and breakfast included in the stay were outstanding, and upon request our hosts arranged a delicious picnic for us to take on our day cruise to Doubtful Sound. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and many thoughtful details enhanced our stay. Highlights for us included an afternoon relaxing in the Library in front of a crackling fire, and chatting to other Lodge guests in the lounge over pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

The facilities, the location and the breakfast were simply fantastic. The whirlpool, the super comfortable bed and the underfloor heating were my absolute highlights, almost better than Milford Sound itself :D. Laura and Derrick are super nice, helpful and quick when it comes to communication. I would come back anytime.

Nice and quiet place outside the city. Very fancy place close to the nature and animals. Neighbors has horses! I loved the privacy and really nice rooms with fireplace, hot hot tub, great coffee, family cat and dog and off course Jan & Jeff, was so so lovely that after 4 nights there I felt as I was leaving from my parents hose. I have been traveled a lot, but this house vibe and the people there was something different. Something for me to feel like I was at home.
