Kitanova House is a gem! The staff were incredibly welcoming, always smiling and radiating warmth. The rooms were stunning — full of natural light, beautifully designed with charming folklore touches and just the right hint of modern art. It felt like a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. Breakfast was another highlight — homemade, delicious, and served with care. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and authentic experience!

Armaco Residence ligt in Koprivshtitsa, op 13 minuten lopen van Todor Kableshkov Memorial House, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. We very much enjoined our stay with Armaco Residence, specially the staff, the hotel facilities (excellent spa), excellent a la carte breakfast and most of all - a wonderfull dinner in the hotel's restaurant Ednorog - delicious food, all made from fresh local products, for a very decent price.

Studios and Apartments - Semiramida Gardens ligt in Borovets in de regio Sofia Province en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. lovely, bright and brand new studio apartment (we rented 2 and they were both great). all modern and with new furnishings, well equipped kitchen and nice place to relax in the evening. separate bathrooms, again all newly fitted out. you can also use the pool, sauna/steam rooms and spa at Borovets Hills hotel (directly opposite). there was a small extra charge but we’ll worth it. our hosts were great, very helpful and they checked in on us during the week. you can ski in/out to Yastrabets lift (about 5 - 10 mins to make your way to the slope with your skis on) it was very quiet, only half the apartments on our floor were in use (and it was half term). lots of parking as well if you drive.

The White Horse Apartments is gelegen op 47 km van Park Vitosha, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. De accommodatie heeft een hot tub en een sauna. This place is an absolute gem. Our host George has been exceptional so far. He assisted us with directions before we arrived and met us with a smile to show us around the room and small spa facility which looks lovely, complete with jacuzzi, sauna, bathroom facilities and optional music. George also helped us out with ski hire from the shop next door, they provided a good price compared to other tourist trap ski hire shops. I would recommend not booking ski hire, etc online and speaking to your host at the apartments instead. He advised that we get the rechargeable ski pass which works out cheaper if you're here for a bit longer. He also gave us reccomendations for food and drink nearby and told us where to avoid. The room itself is lovely, massive windows let in loads of natural light. Comfortable bed. There's also a nice shared balcony overlooking the ski slopes, which brings me on to my next point. The location could not be any better, right across the road from the ski slopes with the ski hire shop right next door and countless food and drink spots within a stone's throw. There seem to be some negative reviews linked to the Google page for White Horse Apartments which are actually for a white horse restaurant which isn't operating anymore. Don't let it deter you. George was also telling us about the plans to further improve the amenities for the accommodation. I won't share the details but it will definitely be worth checking out. We've barely started our holiday here but already we know that we'll be back at some point. Edit after check out: tried to leave a tip for George's mum who cleans the rooms because we can be a bit messy and when we went to collect our bags I found the tip lying on top of the bags. Went to give it to George and they refused to accept it. If that doesn't say something then I don't know what does.

Hotel COTA1110 ligt in Beli Iskar, op 44 km van Park Vitosha, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. We're so glad we decided to make a short detour on our Bulgarian roundtrip to visit Beli Iskar. The hotel is just great: A beautiful, clean room & the restaurant - with the friendliest of personnel - was one of the best throughout our holiday. The nice surroundings (viz. amazing eco trail nearby & a short drive to the Rila monastery) topped it all of. Thanks to the team!

Featuring a free spa, an indoor pool with mineral water and an outdoor pool, SPA Complex Belchin Spring has a restaurant, fitness centre, bar, and free WiFi. Everything was great, the best was the food for lunch/dinner. I didn't have the expectation that the hotel food would be that good, and reasonably priced.

Hotel Nikol ligt in Dolna Banya, op 22 km van Gate of Trajan, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een tuin. The friendliest staff and one of the best pools I've visited. The rooms are spacious enough and very clean. Everything was flawless, we had a great time!

Stoichkovata Kashta Koprivshtitsa ligt in Koprivshtitsa en biedt een barbecue en uitzicht op de bergen. Locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Balkonnetje deed het ook erg goed bij ons.

Dona Guest House - Horse Riding is gelegen in Koprivshtitsa, op 9 minuten lopen van Todor Kableshkov Memorial House, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Fantastic host, wonderful period property and rooms with our own living room. The breakfast was amazing! Adorable dog, cat and horses. We absolutely loved it and are already planning to return next time we are in the region 💖
