I was thoroughly delighted with the Lakeview Motel. It was close to the center of Haliburton Village. All rooms had parking in front of the doors. The staff was very helpful, wanting to make my stay an exceptional experience. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The HD TV featured an extensive channel selection with both Canadian and US news, weather & entertainment choices. Every small detail had been thought of and put in place; there were boxes of tissues on both sides of the bed; the coffeemaker had extra coffee bags, allowing extra cups to be made; ever toiletry possibly needed was provided---it was as if the management had said, "What is everything we can do to make this a memorable experience for our guests." Also they featured a great breakfast menu which could be ordered the night before. An added feature was a large, heated pool. I highly recommend the Lakeview Motel!

The cabin was a great stay. We liked the layout of the space, it was roomy and open. I liked that the master with ensuite was on the main floor and the second room and second bathroom along with entertainment area on the second floor, it allowed for an area for the kiddos to have their own space to lounge when they desired. It was perfect. We enjoyed hikes in the woods and used the driveway as a tobogganing hill for some winter fun. The property had nice views of the lake and was close to town. The cabin had a really homey feel, and I super enjoyed the coffee. The hosts were great to deal with, communicative and helpful. Fabulous stay, I can’t say enough good things.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage, a perfect blend of cozy charm and modern comfort.
The well-appointed kitchen made cooking a pleasure. It was fully stocked with quality utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals in the lovely dining area.
The location of the cottage is also ideal. It's perfectly situated for exploring nearby trails and close to charming Haliburton, yet it feels wonderfully secluded and private. The very responsive hosts provided us with excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and outdoor activities.
Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore the surrounding nature, this cottage is a great choice.
We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit!
