Antony is the best host I've met in China so far (and I've been here for 6 years) Popeye (the cute doggie) is the best marketing manager and entertainer you can find on bookings. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend!

Very close to national park, 7yuan by Didi. Location is in Wulingyuan and there are ao many good food around the hotel. They are really helpful with the route for national park and other attraction like grand canyon and glass bridge. They give us the best advice. You just need to go there and listen to their advice. I was in doubt at first because I spent 8 months to plan for this trip. But they are right. They know the park better than us. They book tickets for us for cheaper. Get us a taxi. Reschedule our ticket when we change our plan. I highly recommend this place. It’s good for money. And i love to support people who knows what they are doing and who loves what they are doing. If good services is your key, go ahead and support them.

The hosts went above and beyond: they prepared herbal foot baths after long hiking days, customized a vegetarian breakfast with local wild vegetable dumplings, and even arranged a private bilingual guide who revealed hidden viewpoints ahead of tourist crowds. The room seamlessly blended traditional Tusheng architecture with modern comforts (think heated floors and rainfall showers). What truly stood out was the proactive service—they contacted us pre-arrival to coordinate luggage storage and secured park tickets during peak season. If you seek authenticity over luxury, this family-run gem delivers soul-stirring moments you won’t find at chain hotels.

Ik verbleef onlangs in het Mellow Crystal Hotel in Zhangjiajie en wat een fantastische ervaring! Allereerst is de locatieperfect. Het hotel ligt tegenover het Helong Stadion, op loopafstand van de halte voor de bus naar de luchthaven . Het treinstation van Zhangjiajie is ook heel dichtbij, wat superhandig is . Ondanks de uitstekende bereikbaarheid zijn er in de buurt veel lokale eetgelegenheden, wat erg leuk is Het meest indrukwekkend was de service. Het personeel aan de receptie was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam . Ze gaven ons heel nuttige reistips en hielpen zelfs met het boeken van attractiekaarten en het regelen van een chauffeur, wat onze reis zoveel aangenamer maakte . Ook de kleine attenties, zoals het aanbieden van snacks voor kinderen, worden zeer gewaardeerd Kortom, dit hotel combineert een ideale locatie met een uitstekende service. Ik zou het zonder twijfel aanbevelen aan iedereen die Zhangjiajie bezoekt. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and had a very warm, homey feeling. The host was the highlight of our trip. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us great local travel tips and even homemade tea. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's a truly authentic and relaxing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and personal touch away from standard hotels. We can't wait to come back!
