Loved that it was owner operated. The owner Tristan and his daughter Arianna work very hard to make your stay wonderful! It is very clean, the pool and lounging area were perfect, and the fact that there are only 4 apartments makes it cozy and quiet. It’s far enough out of town to make it peaceful and in nature, but it’s easily walkable. A bus stop is also just outside the entrance gates. There is a lot of parking, and it is very safe and secure! The home made warm breakfasts delivered to our door were amazing! I would definitely recommend and would come back if we are ever back in the community

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We just got back from staying here for a week and LOVED IT! They gave us a few complementary things (coconuts, bottle of wine, etc. during the stay and just seemed genuinely happy to have us! The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary). We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid: - less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road) - ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around - a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded - had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib) - no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge is a bed and breakfast hotel located 3 km from Cahuita centre. and 300 metres from National Park Cahuita. Comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Tasty breakfast, Costa Rican or French to choose from. Small swimming pool in a nice garden. Barbecue area. Corner with books and board games. The hosts create a friendly atmosphere, they are happy to advise on local attractions, gastronomy, etc. Location close to national parks and nice beaches

Hotel La Casa de las Flores is located in Cahuita, only 230 metres from the bus terminal and shopping mall. It offers its guests complimentary Continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi access. Room was large, clean with a coffee machine. Breakfast was awesome. Fresh fruits, eggs made to order and fresh pastries. Close to everything in the town. Walked most places we needed to go, in town. The owners are amazing people. They couldn't do enough for us.

Surrounded by horses and phenomenal wildlife, the night tour is a must do. The wildlife here is absolutely to die for. I cannot recommend more. I loved seeing the horses everyday.
