Convenient and beautiful location perfect for stopping on our way back from Spain. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. As did our 2 dogs :-) Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk our dogs straight from the door, round lovely streets and semi rural tracks with views of the mountains. There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.

Hôtel Les Frères Ibarboure is located on the Basque coast, between the villages of Guéthary and Bidart. It offers en suite rooms, a restaurant and a pool. Superb stay. Exceptional value. Good size, comfortable rooms. Didn’t take advantage of breakfast, but dinner was of course sublime as expected. Great location too if you are here to explore Pays Basque including inland villages.

Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa is located on the seaside in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and it has a restaurant with a bar. The spa and wellness centre is in a luxurious 1000 m² building. The location was great with direct access to the ocean, the view was incredible but what stood out was the service we received. The staff there goes beyond and above and this makes the experience truly the best.
