Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. At the apartment complex, some units are soundproof. Everything was perfect. It feels like our own home in Iceland. Location is perfect, the one thing is you have to go supermarket approximately 25-30 minutes but since you will be always in road you can make your shopping while you come back to house. Room has its own balcony and have a beautiful sightseeing. I definetly recommend the place

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. Anna was such a great host, and the famhouse is charming. Great vibe, wonderful breakfast, and super comfortable accommodations!

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. We loved everything about the property. The room was very cozy and clean. The location was perfect (right in the middle of the golden circle). We also loved that we could get a delicious farm to table dinner on the property as well as ice cream and coffee. The staff was very friendly and we loved the dogs and cows.

The hot tub was waiting for us so we could jump right in. Very easy check in and check out, I wish it could be a little bit more private in the hot tub area, but overall it is a beautiful place.
