This is a little off the recommended bike path and involves a couple of steep mouintain climbs but well worth the effort in our opinion. The beach location is wonderful and suitable for pleasant walks. The onsen baths are lovely, overlooking the ocean so you can soak in the various tubs and enjoy the views. The meals are excellent with many interesting ingredients and preparations. The staff both friendly and helpful. On the morning of our departure, it started to rain and the proprietress went to significant effort to bundle both our bike rack baggage and our bodies in plastic to help protect us from the wet. Her kindness was very much appreciated. This was a memorable part of our bike tour. Highly recommended.
