Our stay here was absolutely heavenly. We had such an amazing time from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The baths were stunning and really clean. We particularly enjoyed the rock bath. It is about a 25min taxi ride to most of the sights and attractions in Kanazawa. That didn’t bother us because really enjoyed the serene and private feel of being further from the city, but something to keep in mind. Also, I was blown away by the meals and by how fresh all of the food was. If staying here, definitely attend the breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. It almost had the feel of a Michelin star restaurant.

As we have an elderly travelling with us, it was so difficult to find a property that has bedroom downstairs.

The zen garden is wonderful and peaceful. The location could not be better — it’s a very short walk to all the sites. The host was tremendously hospitable. I couldn’t recommend this more!
