I would also like to note the restaurant on the territory - they cook delicious food and it is very cozy. We are glad that we chose this place in Habarana.

Absolutely wonderful property in Anuradhapura. Clean and modern and a lovely spot to relax by the plunge pool. Also had a washing machine available to use which was a massive bonus! Very yummy Sri Lankan breakfasts each morning and we also had dinner one night there which was equally delicious! De Silva also provided great recommendations for tour guides around Anuradhapura. Would 100% stay here again!

He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. It's rich with temples and spiritual atmosphere. Stay at Janaka’s place, ask him for advice, and you won’t be disappointed.

If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. Staff were so helpful and considerate ,both the manager and the guy who served us at restaurant. They even managed to prepare us breakfast the days that we had to leave before breakfast time. Tours they offer also have the best price. Swimming pool was very beautiful and large. Breakfast is great especially oat pancakes with coconut filling

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had excellent facilities – including a beautiful swimming pool, a great restaurant, and even a pool table for fun! It’s one of the best places to relax and enjoy the city. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone visiting Anuradhapura. Will definitely come again!
