My daughter and I loved our short stay at Highbury. The property is very beautiful and makes you feel welcome instantly. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, even upgrading our rooms so that we had a small shared outside area and garden.

Unlike anything I’ve seen before. Rooms and common areas are artfully decorated with trinkets from around the world. My room was overlooking the lake and it felt like I was living in the jungle, surrounded by plants. Bed was super comfy and the rain shower was great. The pool and view over the lake were incredible. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, we had plans to head out to Colombo but decided to stay and enjoy the property and had all our meals there. A personalised experience with great hosts, thanks for everything!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment is located at a wonderful location right next to the beach, mall and shopping areas. Both the property manager as well as the person in charge of the apartment were very responsive online and they made the entire stay super comfortable. The apartment in itself is quite luxurious and the view is stunning! Worth the money for sure

The houseboat we stayed on offered the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully designed, making our stay incredibly relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with dishes that catered perfectly to our taste buds. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavor of the food consistently impressed us. During our stay, we enjoyed two cruises each day through the picturesque Bolgoda waterways. The early morning cruise was particularly breathtaking as we were greeted by the serene beauty of nature waking up. We spotted numerous birds and even got a glimpse of the stunning sunrise. The sunset cruise, on the other hand, provided a different yet equally mesmerizing experience as we sailed through the calm waters with the sky painted in shades of orange and pink. The entire experience was beyond our expectations, and if given the chance, we would gladly stay here 100 times over. Everything was as expected and as described or rated by other travelers. The pick-up and drop-off were perfectly organized, and the apartment was very cozy, bright, and in an excellent location in the city, where the main attractions could be easily reached on foot or by tuk-tuk. The host answered all our questions promptly and clearly. If we ever come to Colombo again ourselves, or if our friends visit, we will definitely choose or recommend this apartment.
