Good value for money.

El Eagles Nest Cabanas se encuentra en un gran terreno rodeado de humedales y ofrece habitaciones con terraza. Está a 3 minutos a pie de la playa y alberga un restaurante. The location is super peaceful and quiet, lots of animals right by the lagoon. 7 mins away from the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got stung by a jelly fish and got offered Aloe Vera right away which really helped me a lot. The breakfast and food in general is homemade and super super tasty. The coffee was also pretty good. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a super quiet and peaceful timeout to just relax and enjoy being surrounded by all kinds of peaceful animals.

Most of all we had a great time due to the owners, Randima and Lakmini, they are so accommodating and friendly and really made the whole experience of staying in their home such wonderful one. They are both interesting people who are easy to talk with and gave us an insight into Sri Lankan life, politics, food, fauna and so much more! They told us of local events and parades happening, helped with logistics, and assisted us on so many occasions; they truly went above & beyond. Secondly the balcony is superb - it exceeded our expectations and although the lake is small it is brimming with wildlife and you get a great view of it all from the balcony (which is right outside the room). This was like a wildlife safari all in itself! If you’re into bird spotting, this place is a must 🦜 The room was truly huge, clean, spacious, the bed comfy. It is near enough to the main road for easy access but not noisy at all and you and can’t see the main road, while the walk up the track to the house in the dark is lit by fireflies. There are several shops and a good restaurant on the road, and the bus stop is very close for getting to the nearby towns, villages and beach stops.

Chaya Beach Hotel, Tangalle se encuentra en Tangalle, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Tangalle, y ofrece vistas al jardín. The best stay we had in Sri Lanka! The room and all the facilities were so comfortable. Room was a bit small but enough to rest, bathroom was enormous and probably the best I've seen in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive, he welcomed us with fruit from his own garden - lovely!

This location makes it hard to leave it for something else. Amazing place for couples. Everything about this place is awesome. The included breakfast is great as well. Turtle beach is 5min by a scooter that you can rent at the villa.

Four Chalets Yala tiene bicicletas gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y restaurante en Tissamaharama. Los chalets son amplios y cómodos, equipados con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia relajante. Se accede a ellos a través de un bonito camino jardinado y, en la parte posterior, disponen de una zona privada con una pequeña terraza perfecta para descansar. El complejo cuenta además con una piscina estupenda, ideal para refrescarse y disfrutar del entorno. El baño es muy espacioso y la habitación, en general, también es muy grande. Como único detalle personal, habríamos preferido una cama doble en lugar de dos individuales aunque estén pegadas, aunque no afectó a nuestra comodidad. La comida estaba deliciosa, elaborada con esmero, y el personal fue siempre muy atento y predispuesto. Queremos destacar especialmente a Damith Silva, que fue encantador y nos organizó el traslado a nuestro próximo destino, además de ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitamos. Ellos mismos gestionaron también nuestro safari, y desde los jardines delanteros pudimos ver un par de reptiles, ya que el alojamiento está rodeado de plena naturaleza.

White Villa Goyambokka, que cuenta con piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza, ofrece alojamiento en Tangalle con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. Just returned home after spending over two weeks here. The Villa is spacious and well equipped. In pleasant surroundings with a large covered veranda overlooking a lovely garden with many local birds, flowers and plants. We only used the kitchen for making drinks, but there is more than adequate space and facilities to cook meals if you wanted. The two bedrooms are large, both with modern AC and large ceiling fans, and enough storage space. We found the bed/ mattress super comfortable and slept really well. Towels and bed linen change and room cleaning was done regularly and on request. You can choose what time you want your breakfast, which was very tasty and changed daily and included local breakfast dishes, fruit, fruit juice, tea, water, yoghurt, omelettes, toast etc.. However, you can make requests and we also ate a couple of evening meals there too, which were lovely and home cooked, and reasonably priced. The owner Upul and his lovely family and are exceptionally kind and flexible, live next door and are at hand to help. We did three trips organised by Upul, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Upul was also at hand with his tuk tuk for local rides, to the beach or shop for example. Also, my wife has some walking difficulties and after finding out, two hand rails were quickly constructed leading from the lane to the garden path. Nice walks in land up to the lake and local village and temple. You can also walk into Tangalle town centre in about 30 minutes via these country roads which is a lot more pleasant than using the main road
