Where do I begin to describe paradise? I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef). The view from the room is also great. You can see the sea beautifully. There is a peaceful environment. The view from the restaurant is also great. You can see the entire sea. *This breakfast is great. The taste, quality, service, everything is top notch. Will definitely come back.

Wonderful place with the most pleasant hostess. Nice property with a swimming pool, home restaurant, and a unique atmosphere surrounded by nature. About 10 minutes on foot to the paradise beach—a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying a great time. Very helpful and friendly family. Thanks for everything ❤️

I absolutely loved the peaceful setting of Lake View Nest. It is a beautiful property nestled in nature with lovely views to a serene lagoon. Waking up with the sounds of different types of animals and the tranquility that this place offers was a magical moment. The location is perfect - far away from the main road and just 10 minutes walking to the stunning Silent beach. The room is huge and very bright with super comfortable bed including a big sofa, everything very new and modern. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Having conversations with the owner I learned many interesting things from this wonderful country. Thank you Randima and your family for your kindness and generosity. I truly recommend this lovely place.

Out of 2 weeks of traveling Sri Lanka, this hotel was by far our favorite. The buildings were new, well maintained. And detail oriented. Location was green, quiet; and not too far from park. They helped us arrange a great safari trip. Food was amazing. Pool was so refreshing. But the highlight was the staff. This was rarely 5 start service from genuine and caring staff. From the welcome drinks and cool towel all the way through checkout, everything was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything about this place was top quality. Massive comfy beds, strong hot shower, aircon, full kitchen, beautiful garden. It's all thought-out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's great for a couple of nights or longer term stays. Walking distance to beaches, and just a short drive to explore more of the south coast. Upul and his family are amazing hosts - such a welcoming family who will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Bonus points for the beautiful dog, Rocky (Upul will make sure you're comfortable with him being around - which we definitely were).
