This place is amazing! It’s definitely the best stay for our three-week round trip . I can only recommend it. We booked a Standard double room , Which was their basic category. But it was fantastic! The room was super clean , which is not always in Sri Lanka. They had everything more than we expected like air conditioning, hot water , mosquito nets , a fan , tea coffee, and even pool towels were provided in the room. Also best value for the money. Unbeatable! The Wi-Fi was great in the room and restaurant. Pool area also had a another Wi-Fi which was good. The pool was our favorite super Large,clean like the rest of the property surrounded with nature great to relax and in the pool even have kind of jacuzzi that you can get a massage in the water :) We also booked a Half day 7 Hour safari tour through them and it was fantastic . Price was also very good compared to other offers we had . We saw many elephants, birds and many other animals . Had a great time with the breakfast inside the park .The driver explained everything to us and was very experienced. He didn’t bother animals or go with too many jeeps . If you’re going on a safari definitely go with the hotel. The owner was very friendly, professional and had lots of experience in the industry. The rest of the staff also very helpful and available always with a smile . Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay ! We‘ll definitely come back . Highly recommend this place!

The home cooked food was amazing, the cottages have all you need, the backyard allows you to enjoy the nature and relax. the Safari full day was a very memorable experience. Our driver knew exactly how to go off the beaten tracks and to create a unique experience.

He organized the safari, the driver was a great guide. Lots of animals to see and lots of elephants. The owner is very kind. Definitely one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended for a few days getaway

Riverside Bird Paradise se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 50 km de Tangalle Lagoon, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

We spent two nights at JML Villa Foresta with the family and honestly, it was the best stay we’ve ever had. From the moment I booked, the owner was in touch and super helpful. Even though he lives abroad, he made sure everything was taken care of and that we were happy. You don’t often see that level of communication and care. Getting to the villa is an adventure in itself. It sits right on top of a mountain, and the hotel provides both the off-road vehicle and the skilled driver you’ll need to get there. Once you’re at the top, the views are absolutely jaw-dropping and the weather shifts constantly, so the scenery feels alive and always changing. The villa is just beautiful. A mix of stone and wood that feels both rustic and luxurious. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Outside there’s a pool with an incredible view, and inside you’ve got a pool table, big flat-screen TV, and a sound system you can crank up without worrying about disturbing anyone, since the villa sits on its own massive 25+ acre estate. Total privacy. RSpecial thanks to Ravi, the host, who looked after us with such professionalism and warmth. He made sure we were comfortable at every moment. And the food? Honestly next level. The owner had told me they serve more than what you pay for, but I didn’t realize just how true that was until we sat down. Every meal was generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. The dishes just kept coming until we couldn’t eat another bite. If you’re after breathtaking views, complete privacy, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. We loved every minute and would come back in a heartbeat.

Olivi Palace se encuentra en Udawalawe, a 14 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. One of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. We booked it completely exhausted when we were 5 minutes away from the place, and when we arrived, there was no one, but in about 30s Marjan arrived on his motorbike telling us that he lives 5min away and came straight when he saw a new booking. He instantly made us feel welcome and made us welcome fresh drinks. Since they also had a jeep, they offered us a morning Safari for a great price, which was absolutely stunning. When we came back, we received another complimentary fresh juice! Marjan was absolutely wonderful. We asked for lunch and he went above and beyond and cooked us multiple wonderul meals we couldn't even finish. The place was very clean, and truly a great experience! However! When looking for the place, look for signs, as google maps doesn't actually have the street that its on in its maps. The signs showed us the way - google maps was wrong.

TheGlenrock is a magical place for us, which is not only located in a beautiful jungle landscape, but also offers the best service - always with a big smile and the “we make it happen” attitude. No wish is left unfulfilled, everything is possible. The penthouse where we stayed offers a spectacular view, the large terrace is a wonderful place to sit, and a few floors below is the restaurant with really delicious cuisine. We often saw the chefs picking herbs and salads from their own garden. So: everything is fresh and delicious. Special thanks to Asanka, who really knows no problem and always finds a solution, Thusith, who looked after us so lovingly and took us on the most beautiful tours into the jungle, always in a good mood, and Nevika, the best masseur and yoga teacher (on the roof with a view in the morning). But all the staff were also always smiling and so friendly. A magical place you won't forget.
