We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!

The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful retreat. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless – we felt right at home. The staff truly made our experience exceptional, especially Dyan. She was incredibly friendly and her hospitality was top-notch. We also appreciated the delicious, home-baked afternoon tea, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we highly recommend Punga Lodge and will definitely be booking again in the future!
