Guests can enjoy an ambient stay in their soundproof room with carpeted floor and a fireplace. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. It is a wonderful place, calm, among the nature… and the alpacas ! The house was absolutely lovely. Nat was very nice and helpful with many recommandations ! :)

Built in 1996, the property includes sauna and hot tub. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Our room & the shared space were relaxing. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day at Abel Tasman. The breakfast was bountiful and beautiful featuring many items from their farm.

The lodge offers a hot tub. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.
