Offering free access to its guests to an indoor pool and a restaurant, Hotel Roman Maramures - Ski & Spa Resort is located in Borşa, 2 km from the Cailor Waterfall and 10 km from Iezer Lake. The view from the 5th floor cannot be beat, it is the highest floor and the mountains look gorgeous. The room is modern and comfortable, the bed is comfortable and the shower is good. The pool is heated and has a jacuzzi in the pool, also another jacuzzi in the spa area, as well as a steam room and sauna. The restaurant food is good but way overpriced. The inclusive breakfast was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The parking on the 4th floor is convenient when your room is on the 4th or 5th floor. Hotel is only a minute walk away from the telecabin and a few min from the gondola. Beautiful mountain location.

Hotel Europa, located 1 km from the centre of Baia Mare, houses a restaurant with a bar, offers 24-hour reception, and provides free WiFi in all areas. The location was good, it was calm. Breakfast was amazing with various dishes and beverages. The fact that the venue had parking was exceptional, as well as elevator in case you are bringing a lot of luggage. The staff was very pleasant and kind. Overall, if I happen to visit Baia Mare again, this would be my go-to location.
