Pavol, the owner takes immense pride in this place and it shows. He is a genuine, kind and generous person who honestly cares if you are taken care of. I’ve been to places all over the world and this is my favorite place, hands down? Why? The amenities are many (the infra red sauna and hot tub to watch sunsets are two) and Pavol is excited for you to enjoy the labors of his work. He even helped me plan my day at the park and made sure I found my way. This was a special experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

Penzion u Šimona is located in Vernár, a 5-minute drive from the Studničky Ski Area. Free WiFi access is available. We loved our stay! It is even better than the pictures! The view from our room was absolutely magical and everything was super clean and well maintained. The owners were lovely and the breakfast was big with hot & cold and savoury & sweet options offered every day. The village is super cute and perfectly located for access to all parts of the Slovak Paradise and the southern parts of the Tatras.
