A shingled wooden house on the eastern edge of Moab, it has a charming, almost English character. It features a small garden, a covered pergola with a barbecue area, and a kidney-shaped pool. Two double loungers, one in the sun, the other in the shade, invite you to relax depending on the time of day. In front of the covered terrace are round tables; inside, there’s a stylish lounge, perfect for reading or playing games in the evening, and for enjoying a shared breakfast in the morning, which can be ordered the night before. This hotel naturally encourages you to slow down: the Main Street is out of earshot, and after a day in Zion National Park or Canyonlands, this place offers everything you could wish for. The owner has created a little paradise here with great attention to detail.

The inn is nicely located in the calm Castle valley. It served as a perfect base for visiting nearby locations as the Arches NP. And it provided a relaxing environment with its large garden and surrounding rocks and mountains. Last not least, Jenny and Scott were perfect hosts helping us with hints for where-to-go and providing an excellent breakfast. If we come again into the Moab area, we will certainly stay in the Castle Valley Inn again.
