Nestled between North Bay and Lake Michigan, the Gordon Lodge has an outdoor pool and a restaurant. The lodge is located in North Bay in Door County. Free WiFi access is available in this resort. Morning breakfast exceeded expectations. The grounds were outstanding and well kept! Free use of bicycles, kayaks, pool, hot tub, hiking and other amenities were a huge bonus. Location

Featuring an outdoor pool and tennis court, Country House Resort is located in Sister Bay. This adult-oriented accommodation offers fishing, cycling and hiking facilities. What is not to like? The location is idyllic. Each room looks onto Sister Bay and hills surrounding it. The light fixtures in the room are stylish and modern. The bed looked to have been purchased a few days before. The TV screen is utterly enormous, and the DVD player easy to use. The shower is state of the art, and the flooring is spectacular. The breakfast was plentiful and the offerings varied. In the morning, three deer stood in front of the office. Ten seconds later, seven more came out from the bushes. The hiking path to town allows you to avoid cars and amble through nature into downtown Sister City, which is liberally peppered with good eateries and brew pubs. The staff were all very nice and helpful in every regard. This may be listed as a two-star hotel, but one feels like a king staying there.

Loved the atmosphere. Although this is not on the water, it is close enough. It is a little dated in decor, but the living room furniture was new in both rooms that we were in. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and there was a lot of space. Courtesy movies available at the front desk. We would stay here again.

Somerset Inn & Suites offers a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, barbecue and children's playground. Free private parking is available on site. I stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi tub which was exceptional. The fire pit was a really nice area to sit out at.

Breakfast was delicious and was promptly brought to our cabin at 9 am, facilities were very clean, charming, had lots of storage, was well equipped, is surrounded by natural beauty, has a beautiful view, cabin is very private and secluded. We enjoyed our stay, and will hopefully be back soon.
