The property features mountain and garden views, and is 48 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and picnic area. Kukummi is a wonderful lodge in an exceptional location. There are only three guest accommodations - each with its own rondavel. The atmosphere is therefore very personal, which I really liked, travelling on my own this time. Both hosts - Ryan and Danny - are super nice and make you feel like a friend from the moment you arrive. If you are interested, Ryan will be happy to tell you more about the place, the history of the lodge and the plans of the two owners. I was fascinated by his stories and couldn't stop asking more details (hope you didn't mind me bothering, Ryan... ;o) The staff is very attentive and eager to fulfill your every wish. Breakfast and dinner are very tasty. There is not much choice at dinner, but a fixed weekly menu, which is completely understandable given the small size of the hotel. I really enjoyed the meat dishes, but vegetarians also have no problem - Danny, the co-owner, is one himself. Various options were offered for breakfast. My personal favorite was the English breakfast prepared by Dombi - nothing was missing and it was excellently prepared... a dream! You have a wonderful view of the mountains and can go hiking from the lodge, but those who are not so adventurous can also enjoy this very special place in itself. My favorite spot for sunny days was in the meadow by the stream, where you can dip into the clear mountain water whenever it gets too warm. And: don't miss out the hot tub in the evening. It's such a great moment when you stretch out in the large, pleasantly temperate tub, with a cold beer or a glass of wine in your hand... I have every intention of coming back - preferably in September, when everything is in bloom.

The spacious bed and breakfast is equipped with a satellite flat-screen TV. The kitchenette is fitted with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The bed and breakfast offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. We had a great time here! It is well located to explore the area. We did a day trip to Sani Pass from here. We felt very comfortable in the cottage and slept very well. Judy is an awesome host, she is kind and caring, had great tips for the area, and made us feel so welcome :)

At the farm stay, certain units are equipped with a kettle and chocolates or cookies. What a lovely cottage. Interior was gorgeous, everything we needed and incredibly comfortable. Garden was glorious and the kids loved the hot tub. Farm shop and veggie garden an added bonus!

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Multiple tourist attractions nearby. Manageable dirt road, becoming tarred into town. Highly recommended

Large glass sliding doors lead onto a wooden deck or patio. Some of the units have spa bath. On arrival, jacuzzi was hot and going, even Ice in the ice bucket!, Graham was an exceptional host!, They catered for us and the food was incredible proper home style food with lots of variety, highly suggest the catering. Cleaning staff are very thorough in their clean even dusting exterior windows and cleaning the entire deck around the place. Mopping all floors, honestly blown away by how well they do their job, big ups to them!!

At the guest house, all units include a seating area. The place was unreal. So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.
