The accommodation has a hot tub. The place was fabulous we couldn’t believe we were so close to civilisation!

All units are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a desk. Rooms are complete with a semi private bathroom fitted with a bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All rooms have a wardrobe, safe and ironing facilities. The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were amazing. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but I have to say that the staff at here were amazing. Housekeeping, the reception staff, waiters at the restaurant, the reservation team! I’m not sure how they managed to recruit the right people for every position. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, breakfast had great choices. The ginger shots were such a great touch.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. It features a pool and a restaurant.

Guests can experience game viewing tours organized by the Lodge. The sun loungers by the pool allow guests to have a relaxing sun bath. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas. When you arrive, you get greeted immediately, and staff would help you with your luggage to the room. The rooms are all beautiful, and the drives are fantastic. I was very happy about how mindful our guide (Cathy) was towards the animals (If there were other cars near a certain animal, we would try to come back later. She kept good distances), and how knowledgeable she is. She tried to really find all the animals (except leopard, as they would be exceptional to find). I would really recommend staying 2 nights, so you have enough game drives to also go and see the giraffes (they live further away in the reserve). The dinner is fantastic, the breakfast is fantastic, and the morning coffee with a view of the elephants really ties everything together (they also live in the big reserve, but tend to come into view in the morning). The staff is all really nice, and the spa treatments are not too expensive.

Guests can also enjoy complimentary access to the sauna, steam room and heated lap pool in the J Wellness Circle. There is a spacious fitness centre, fully equipped with Techno machines for working out. We had an amazing time at the Taj on our Honeymoon! Generously welcomed to champagne and sweets in the room. The food at Bombay Brasserie was immaculate and memorable! The room was beautiful with great views. Breakfast had a great variety! Definitely recommend a stay!

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to buy almond milk for a coffee. And also had a cute friendly dog

The guest house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Everything was a discovery; every ambiance would lead you to something unreal, magical. Words really cannot describe the beauty of this gem. It’s really a different concept from common hotels and an experience that it’s worth the try. Also the staff is amazing.

This place is perfect for a good night's rest, I slept sooo well after the quality jacuzzi time I didn't want to wake up! Wish we could stay longer, the jacuzzi is a plus point, the beautiful bath, the shower the television everything is just soo comfortable

Modern furniture and decor. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace in the unit helped allot in the cold weather. We'll definitely visit again.
