The room was a good size, well maintained, and the food was lovely. It was a great location! The perfect place for a short stay in Rio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Victor & Miguel at reception are so lovely and a huge asset for the hotel. They helped us to book our trips to Cristo Redentor and the Sugarloaf. The staff who served us for breakfast and dinner were also really nice!

I loved my stay at Ipanema Beach Hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly, the staff make you feel at home, and it’s the perfect place to meet people from all over the world. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach and close to great bars and restaurants. Everything was clean, comfortable, and full of good vibes. I’d definitely come back!

Location is excellent, walking distance to Ipanema Beach and shopping areas. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The room is well designed and shower is hot and strong (vey important for me). Best of all the chilled vibe perfectly captured the Rio experience. Shared amenities with its sister hotel Arporador is a big plus.

The location was good. Walking distance to Ipanema beach and lots of restaurants and supermarkets near by. The apartment had a lot of space and everything you needed. The washing machine was handy. The view was incredible from the apartment.

Comfortable, modernised apartment. Very conveniently located for Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Cantagalo metro. Friendly and efficient staff. I reported a fault with the washing machine and the technician had looked at it within an hour and replaced it with a new machine a couple of hours later.

The apartment was very nice – well-equipped with everything you might need, beautifully decorated, and full of color. Its location is perfect: just a 7-minute walk to Ipanema Beach, with a supermarket right next to the building and plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafés along the main street. The building felt very secure, and both the host and the security staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful.

Location was amazing. The rooftop for hotel guests is an amazing feature with an incredible view of the sunset on Ipanema beach. Hotel breakfast was the best we had in Brazil and staff were amazing- from the doormen to the bar staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful.

We had amazing time in the hotel. Great room on last floor with amazing views on Copacabana and Ipanema beach. View from the rooftop terrace and infinity pool was breathtaking... amazing authentic brazilian food. And helpful English speaking staff.

There is a great spot on the rocks at the end of Ipanema beach (at the Copacabana end). Grab a coconut or a beer from one of the many vendors wandering around and enjoy!
