This glacial lake, also known as Emerald Lake due to its glittering green waters, is popular with nature lovers, fly-fishers and kayakers alike. In the summertime, the shoreline’s sandy beaches provide excellent tan-topping opportunities, while hikes into the nearby rainforest attract the exploring type. Ferries connect the towns of Petrohue and Peulla at the Western and Eastern edges of the lake respectively.
