This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Everything is perfect here. It is indeed the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in Germany. It's service is superb and beyond words, from valet parking, to reception, to luggage carrying to the room. They made you feel being treated like they really care about you. Beautiful hotel located on a hilltop overlooking Heidelberg and next to the cliff railway. Nice large comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is a nice place to enjoy a few drinks as well.

Great breakfast, spacious room and wonderful location. Public transport is available about three minutes from the hotel. Felt like a calm and safe area for a woman traveling alone. The staff was always helpful. Will definitely return in the future.

Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.
