Loved the breakfast room, full of light and beautiful views over the Gorge in the morning. The staff were friendly, but professional, and breakfast was good. The interior of the hotel is designed well, dramatic colour schemes which really work, but at same time it’s comfortable too. Particularly enjoyed the bar area with its stunning views over the Gorge at night. The bedrooms were very simple, but tastefully furnished, classic/modern design bathroom with some period pieces in the bedroom, a nice nod to the history of the building.

Lovely old character building in a fantastic location, minutes walk from all the cafes, shopping, restaurants & pubs that are on offer in Clifton Village & very easy walk to The Clifton Suspension Bridge. All the staff that we have met are helpful, friendly & efficient. A variety of rooms to choose from & a good breakfast if you need it. Parking is also a huge bonus. We will be staying again this week, our 3rd visit in the last couple of months & will always be our first choice on our next visit to Bristol.
