Arrived at 11.30am as plans had changed - but our room was ready - we were "guests of the day" so upgraded . Super dinner , great staff , lovely breakfast .

The location, in the heart of the Crystal Palace 'village'. Victorian style all upgraded, but lovingly restored with all the period character throughout. Great vegan breakfast too. And the bath! Loved the bath!

The Clarendon overlooks historic Blackheath and Greenwich Park as well as views of London and offers a village atmosphere just 15 minutes' from central London by train.

We always stay at the Calendon Hotel as the staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always warm and clean with beautiful views on the heath or the garden. Breakfast is fantastic with everything you could wish for with friendly staff, dinners are served in a cozy atmosphere. The hotel is in a fantastic area with bus stops just outside and a few minutes walk from the hotel is the train station.

We really appreciate the staff at the hotel. They managed to get us early into our room, so that our child could have her nap. They always had a smile on their faces and always greeted us. They staff was also super helpful when our little one got sick! The location was much better than expected! We took the bus to Big Ben! The DLR takes you to Canary Warf and then when you get to Bank, it’s easy enough to get to everywhere else. We also enjoyed a few hours in Blackheath, which was only a 5min bus ride away. We will definitely come back here. It’s like the perfect little hidden gem for a great stay in London!
