I was concerned when I was told Camden market was being basically rebuilt. Although I have to admit they’ve done an incredible job. So much choice at reasonable prices. Ghastly, full of the most awful tourist tat and crowded too. One of the worst markets in the world. This market used to be full of original sellers and stalls and unfortunately it full of rubbish imported from the far east. Two minutes from Swiss Cottage station. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Room was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. Stayed with my daughter after watching an England game at Wembley which was only a few stops away on the tube. We had a private room with a shared bathroom and would definitely stay here again. Go on the weekdays! I went to Camden Market on a Saturday (BIG mistake), so I went back again on a Wednesday and it was lovely.
