Very comfortable room which included blankets in case the duvets were too hot as they often are in hotels. Large bathroom with handy drawers - hotels often lack space to put all your stuff. Very friendly, helpful staff and incredible breakfasts.

loved the style and decoration - homey, tasteful and a feeling of understaded opulance. room and bed size was great and bed was very comfy. great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and excellent location. Really great quality-price fit! love that there's coffee in the room - with real milk in the fridge (hardly ever have that in hotels).

Very nice staff. Very clean. Nice breakfast selection. Good location to quayside and town. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout which was no trouble at all for the staff. Very good value overall.

The location is less than 5 minutes walk from the bus stop for National Express and Flixbus coaches in Bampfylde street. It's convenient for us as we took the coach from Heathrow Airport London to Exeter city center. Our room was clean and cozy, even the bathtub and toilet bowl were spotless. Staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially Sophie at the front desk (in the words of my brother -- she's perky, charming, considerate and helpful). We were assigned a room as requested, facing the front entrance of the hotel. Strong wi-fi signal. Very good breakfast, however, do consider adding some varieties to it, like waffles or pancakes. It was nice to visit Exeter again after my university days.

A memorable stay at the Hotel du Vin in Exeter. The rooms were spacious and delightful, the hotel staff friendly and welcoming, and the meal at the bistro was superb. I can’t wait to come back and visit!
