There are several public beaches that provide showers small changing areas and palm frond covered shaded areas. The sand is Rocky which is to be expected but are useful to hold down towels and blankets if it's windy. Most of the public beaches had a assisted handle walking area which is good to avoid the stones. Good idea to bring water shoes. Try the local restaurants everything that we had in the three that we tried was amazing. The fresh lemons right from trees and olives and fresh made local bread, amazing.
