Once used to provide wind power to the coastal town of Mykonos, this cluster of 11 towers remains solely as an icon perched on the hillside of the seaside spot – and a pretty photo-snapping spot. Dating from the 16th century, they stopped providing power to the island in the 1960s and now cast a dramatic shadow against a gorgeous coastline.
