The hotel was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. We were there only for 2 nights but I regretted we didn’t plan to stay for a week or so. I booked the hotel with no expectations really and didn’t know it was an entire resort. Everything was amazing. You have few private beaches with sun beds and umbrellas that you can use free of charge. The sea by the hotel is perfect for snorkeling, you can go very deep 10m or so very fast but at the same time there is always rocks around to rest on. And there is plenty of fish in the sea :) I usually hate breakfasts at the hotels and I am very skeptical towards them, but here the breakfast was amazing with good quality products and free Prosecco available for grabs with your breakfasts. I guess that is because it’s a complex of hotels and one of them is 5* so you get the 5* treatments in the 4* hotel. Only a plus! There is a couple of restaurants and bars in the resorts plus few swimming pools, so you can really never leave the resort if you are looking for a perfect relaxing holidays. In the beginning I had a problem with the view from my room so our room got changed for the second night for one with a view I could like better :) good style! It was truly one of the best hotels I have ever been to!

Staying at the Hotel Royal Ariston was gorgeous. The staff was always friendly, professional, and caring. The facilities were modern, and perfectly equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy every part of our stay. From the beautiful surroundings to the warm hospitality, everything was just perfect. Fabulous Breakfast and dinner with stunningly beautiful sea view and sunset. The beach is definitely not for everyone — access is via ladders from the rocky shore, and it’s deep right away — but personally, I love it. There are many swimming pools. There is an excellent promenade with beautiful restaurants directly outside the hotel. It is a quiet resort where you feel safe and calm. Great location to get to the Old Town. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment...

If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment just outside the old town. Get up very early and start your tour in Dubrovnik between 7 and 8 am. The Stradun is almost empty at that time. Between 9 and 10 the first boats and busses arrive and the main streets get overcrowded. A good time to start your walk on the walls. In the afternoon, when it's hot, visit Rector's palace, churches... Have a nice dinner and return to your quiet appartment (while the old town is noisy most of the night...)

Go early - Europe starts from 9am so if you want to see the Stradum without the crowds, around 8am will give you a much better view for photos that are not all photo-bombed by everyone else in love with this historic city.

Get in early to miss crowds, lots of cruises come in so check how many ships are in the day/days you are going in to town. Great place to people watch and have coffee or drinks and just relaxing and enjoy.

Nice vibe on the street.

Nice vibe on the street. Plenty of action but can get quite crowded. Busy in late September which should be off season so could be uncomfortable in mid-summer. Lots of walking tour groups clog up the streets.

Ana was very welcoming, good communication with her son beforehand, the apartment was comfortable and spacious and well equipped. We realised once we were there that the location was perfect, on one of the very picturesque, albeit very steep stairs, above Prijeka ulica, with lots of restaurants far less expensive than on Stradun. Good Wi-Fi and supplies of toiletries. Thank you Ana !

The apartment was really good and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Very central location and when you’ve worked it out, you can get to the Stradun with very few steps if you turn left out of the apartments!

Lovely apartment. Very close to everything. Only a few steps from the stradun. We had room 3 that was only a few steps up. Giron brought up our bags and went through everything with us. Gave recommendations and told us which gate to use for climbing the walls. Excellent service

The location right in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town was perfect - around 20 metres to The Stradun, the Main Street. We could explore all of the Old Town, and enjoy a huge choice of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The apartment had everything we needed, was a good size, and the manager, Vlaho, was exceptionally helpful with getting us settled in, and any other requests or queries that we had.

The apartment is in excellent location few steps from Main Street Stradun.All restaurants are on the doorstep. The accommodation was ready for us earlier than stated time on booking.com so that was a bonus, as our flight was early in the morning. The owner was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend the place.

We stayed in 'Ormanica' and our room was really pretty and in a refurbished, old-style building. The location is stellar, on a side street running parallel to Stradun and close to a hundred delicious restaurants. Pretty good value for Dubrovnik old town! The space was maybe a little tight but it's well-designed. Good wifi, nice shower.

The property has a great location, close to Stradun and it is modern and clean, the bed was comfortable and we even had breakfast vouchers in a close cafe - it was a really good offer for a reasonable price (EUR 10). Our hosts were superfriendly and shared all important and practical information for our stay in Dubrovnik. Definitely recommended!

Although on the small side, the studio was very clean and perfect as a base to explore Dubrovnik Old Town. It had a selection of teas and a coffee maker. The person who met me with the keys was very pleasant. Great location, as close to the Stradun and harbour. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars overlooking the marina.
