Fabulous views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. Each villa has its own natural hot spring pool. Staff very accommodating. Restaurant at the villas, so no need to go elsewhere for food. Staff arranges activities as requested. We did a boat tour of the lake.

We recently stayed at starhill kintamani to celebrate a special birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of the way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. The room was beautifully prepared—spacious, spotless, and with thoughtful touches that made the celebration extra special. We especially appreciated the birthday present for my kid and the warm wishes from the owner. Our kids absolutely loved the small hot pool, which made the stay even more enjoyable for the whole family. Above all, what stood out most was the outstanding hospitality. The owner was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay enjoyable. This was more than just a hotel stay—it was an experience that turned a birthday into a cherished memory. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and heartfelt service.

I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered Hotel Cinze, a brand-new hotel nestled in the beautiful highlands of Batur, Kintamani. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful—far from any noise or distractions. The design of the pool area is aesthetic and calming, but what truly sets this hotel apart is its series of charming hot water jacuzzis. These jacuzzis are equipped with advanced temperature control technology, offering a variety of heat settings. I believe this might be one of the most unique hot spring experiences in Indonesia! My room was located on the upper floor, where I was treated to not just one, but two breathtaking views. As I breathed in the crisp, fresh air of Kintamani, I could gaze directly at Lake Batur and three majestic mountains surrounding it: Mount Batur, Mount Agung, and Mount Abang. The room itself was immaculate—well-furnished with high-quality amenities and modern interior touches. The highlight? Each room comes with a private jacuzzi located right in front of your doorstep, allowing you to unwind while still enjoying the stunning scenery. Although the hotel is still undergoing development and expansion, the experience already feels complete. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything you need. Impressively, the owner is directly involved in overseeing the hotel operations and mentoring the staff, ensuring top-notch service for all guests.

I had an excellent stay at Lava Sky. The property is very clean and well maintained, with incredible views—especially at sunrise. The staff went above and beyond, lighting the fire for us each night at the requested time and even coordinating takeaway deliveries when needed. When I arrived with a flat bike tire, they took care of it right away. Everything was seamless, and I felt well looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

In my view a much better and more authentic experience away from the tourist focal towns. Stunning scenery, roads were better here too for condition and pace. Plenty to see and do too. Beats Ubud and Kuta hands down for a calmer Bali time.

I had such a great experience staying here! The hosts Wayan and Abby were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. The place itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. They also organized a Mount Batur hiking tour, which was one of the highlights of my trip. The guide was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kintamani. Perfect combination of warm hospitality, comfort, and adventure!

The location facing mount Batur with an awsome swimming pool, the well decorated, clean and cosy rooms, all the organization for both batur climbing and Kuburan Terunyan... the family running this homestay is just fantastic!!! I like Mr. Komang, who served me in a friendly and responsive manner; the internet is fast, so I can watch on LED TV until satisfied, which means a lot to me. The place is comfortable because it is far from the noise of the city, so I can rest peacefully in this place. The next day I joined the activity of enjoying this hotel's Sunrise on Mount Batur. This place is the perfect spot to stay while exploring Kintamani. It is minutes away from the trailhead of Mount Batur and beautiful views all around. Beautiful little Balinese cottages next to the main geothermal hot springs park and the Hindu temple complex. We stayed for one night to hike Mount Batur. We were satisfied enough with our own little mini-hot spring, so we skipped the big hot springs park. The hosts were great with welcome drinks, breakfast, and arranging a guide for the hike.
