The location within walking distance of the promenade around the walls and St. Frediano Basilica was appreciated. Convenient parking across from the hotel was a bonus. The excellent breakfast with quality breads, cheeses, and fruit topped it all off. Staff was very helpful--even called to return an item I left behind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, great breakfast, friendly staff, 5-7pm availability of free prosecco and all day availability of coffee and tasty snacks made it special to return to the hotel after an excursion

It was a great stay. Perfect location, good room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced with staff remembering are chosen drinks.

Hotel Palazzo Alexander is a historic building in the centre of Lucca, with easy access from Porta San Donato. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and the staff is multilingual.
