Our room was very large compared to most hotel rooms in Japan and had beautiful views looking over towards the water, we could even see the Itsukushima Shrine Otorii Gate. The hotel's location is unbeatable, offering both sea view and mountain view rooms; we enjoyed a mountain view room with a glimpse of the sea. It's a short walk to the Itsukushima Shrine, the ropeway, shops, restaurants, and the ferry station. The amazing staff were very helpful, providing great recommendations for places to see and eat. All the other main activities and points of interest can also be reached in a matter of minutes. Service was great, as the staff is very kind, welcoming and the free shuttle service from the ferry port to the hotel was very much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and the wifi is good. The hotel is situated just behind the Itsukushima Shrine, giving you the opportunity to go there early in the morning before the crowds arrive. The room was comfortable, they have the choice of western-style or Japanese-style rooms. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Great hosts, welcoming us warmly and introducing us to Japanese cuisine and culture. Traditional rooms and delicious food. Located close to the ferry terminal and short walk away from Itsukushima shrine with its red torii in the water and the cable car station to Mount Misen.
