SwedenVery good location and clean nice rooms. We were very happy with the breakfast and the nice staff. If you are going to visit Wakayama Castle which is next to the hotel, we recommend this hotel. It is also easy to walk around Wakayama from the hotel.

The airport bus from Kansai stops on the other side of the station. The buses in front of the hotel can take you to all the places of interest. The friendly and helpful staff who greet you at the lobby every time you step in and out. The breakfast buffet is a good spread of local delights too. Downstairs a Pronto was good for breakfast and lots of restaurants right next door. The bath on the rooftop was good. Rooms were fine, always the juggling with 2 suitcases in Japanese hotel rooms but managed to squeeze them and us in. The view of the castle from our room and the breakfast room was excellent. The hotel practiced strict hygiene rules at breakfast, the quality of which was very good. Although it looks like JR Wakayamashi Station is nearer to the hotel on the map, it is much more convenient and direct to get off at JR Wakayama Station.
